“The IVIA aims to promote air quality and energy efficiency in Ireland’s houses and buildings by supporting best practice in the Irish ventilation sector.”
Who we are
The IVIA is a not-for-profit trade association with membership open to manufacturers, installers, suppliers, associated industry and businesses, as well as students. The association is managed by a board of directors who control its activities and policies. The board of directors is elected every two years by its members.

The IVIA aims to serve its members and the public by being:
A voice for the industry
The IVIA aims to be the voice of the ventilation industry in Ireland, promoting its members and representing their interest in regulatory and legislative affairs, at a national and EU level.
A platform for best practice
The IVIA promotes best practice for all elements of the business, from system design and installation through to commissioning and ongoing maintenance. The association aims to establish an accredited training and commissioning certification programmes for installers, and promote the IVIA Commissioning Certificate as the mark of quality assurance.
A knowledge portal
The IVIA provides a central resource for relevant industry information, from regulations and legislation through to equipment standards and certification. It also plays an awareness-raising and empowering role for ventilation users by making knowledge and practical guidelines available to them. Find out more…
A meet and greet place
The IVIA wants to encourage networking among its members and be a point of connection with all relevant stakeholders in the sector, from government circles to environmental campaigners. It also gives opportunities for marketing your products and services to your clients through sponsorship and advertising.
